Getting here

Travel and check-in

Castara is about an hour from the airport on the leeward road — one of the prettiest drives in the Caribbean.

Flights

Fly into ANR Robinson International Airport (TAB) in Crown Point. From the UK there are direct seasonal flights, or you can connect through Trinidad, Barbados or Miami. Most guests arrive in the afternoon and are on their balcony before dark.

Transfers and driving

We can arrange a trusted local driver to meet you at arrivals — tell us your flight number and they'll be waiting. The drive to Castara takes around an hour via the Northside Road.

Hire cars are easy to arrange too. The village is walkable once you're here, so a car is useful for exploring rather than essential day to day.

Arriving at the villa

Check-in is from 2pm and check-out by 11am, though we'll always try to work around your flights. We meet every guest personally, show you around the apartment and point you at the best of the village — the bakery, the beach bars, the waterfall path.

The villa sits on the hillside above the bay, which is what gives you the view. There are steps up from the road, so pack sensibly and let us know if you'd like a hand with luggage.
